Ceramic lined pipe pairs a structural steel outer shell with an inner lining of alumina ceramic — a material second only to diamond in hardness. For fine-particle, high-velocity service — pulverized coal, fly ash, cement raw meal — it delivers the longest maintenance-free wear life of any pipe system we manufacture.
Two lining forms: Ceramic tile lining bonds shaped alumina tiles to the steel bore — versatile for large diameters. Isostatic-pressed ceramic tube lining forms a seamless ceramic tube inside the steel shell — preferred for high-velocity fine-particle service with zero joints.
EverWear Pipe (Cangzhou Ruicheng Pipeline Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., founded 2014) produces ceramic lined pipe in Yanshan Economic Development Zone, Cangzhou, Hebei, China.

Why Alumina Ceramic
Alumina (Al2O3) ceramic: extreme hardness combined with chemical inertness. Typical 92–95% alumina content. Honest limitation: ceramic is brittle — wrong choice for large, heavy lumps at high energy (use bimetal or hardfacing instead).
Technical Features
- Extreme surface hardness. Alumina ceramic 92–95% Al2O3, far exceeding hardened steel.
- Two lining systems. Tile-mounted for large diameters; seamless tube for high-velocity duty.
- Steel shell for structure. Carries pressure, welds conventionally.
- Smooth bore, low friction. Minimizes pressure drop.
- Corrosion and wear in one. Chemically inert ceramic handles combined attack.
- Reinforced elbows. Increased lining thickness at impact zone on request.

Where Ceramic Lined Pipe Is Used
- Power plants: pulverized-coal piping, fly ash handling, FGD limestone slurry.
- Mining: fine-particle tailings lines, concentrate conveying.
- Cement: raw meal, kiln feed and cement conveying.
- Coal washing: dense-medium lines.
- Chemical/battery materials: powder conveying where product purity matters.
FAQ
1. Tile-lined vs. tube-lined — which do I need?
Tile for large diameters and maintainable service; tube for seamless high-velocity duty.
2. Can the elbow match the straight pipe’s life?
Elbows get increased lining thickness at the impact zone; with correct selection, elbow life approaches straight-pipe life.
3. What happens if a tile comes loose?
Individual tiles can be replaced without changing the spool.
4. Suitable for large lumps or heavy impact?
No — we recommend bimetal composite or hardfaced pipe for heavy-impact service.
5. What drawings do you need?
Diameter, lining type, elbow angles/radii, flange standard, quantities.
